Chesterton Academy of the Immaculate Conception held its inaugural Vision Gala: Hope for the Future on April 25, welcoming more than 300 guests to Our Lady of the Assumption Church for an inspiring evening. Together, supporters gathered in joyful solidarity to celebrate our school, our students, and the future of classical, Catholic education in the Central Valley.
The evening was guided by emcee Scott Kuykendall and featured speakers including Headmaster Joseph Michelena, Board President Elizabeth Costa, future CAIC student Abigail Costa, supporters Scott and Krissa Fernandes, keynote speaker Greg Billion, Headmaster of Chesterton Academy of St. James in Menlo Park, and Fr. Larry Machado.
The program also included a beautiful musical performance from Chesterton Academy of Sacramento’s Choir.
Thanks to the overwhelming generosity of our community, the night surpassed all expectations. Together, attendees exceeded the fundraising goal, raising over $380,000 in support of CAIC’s mission and the students we are called to serve. This remarkable outpouring of support is a powerful testament to the hope, faith, and shared commitment that continue to propel our school forward.
